Sweden has a climate influenced by the Gulf Stream. It relieves winters and summers and bring warm and moist air. There is abundant rainfall in August. The northern part has significantly colder climate that is influenced by airflow from the Siberian fields. In the capital, the average January temperatures are around minus 3 degrees and in July they reached nearly 18 degrees Celsius. Annual rainfall varies at 555 mm, while the northeast of the country having annual rainfall ranging from 1000 to 2000 mm.

Turning Torso - the building of Turning Torso is a landmark of Malmö. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres with 54 stories. The tower was designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
St Peter's church - from 14th century
Ribersborg is the man made beach in the western harbour. Ribersborg is very popular and locally called as Swedish Riviera.
Big Square (locally called Stortorget) - here you can see a statue of King Karl X Gustav. From the Big Square you can continue directly to the Little Square (locally called Lilla torg).
Malmöhus Castle was built in 15th century by Erik of Pomerania. Now it is a home of a history museum, art museum, aquarium, and terrarium.
Fiskehoddorna - a small, traditional fish market - nice to see a typical atmosphere.
