Weather and when to go

Spanish climate is milder in coastal areas than in central Europe. However, the center of Spain is almost continental climate. For example, in Castile the winter are cold and summers are really hot.

Spain is a country of contradictions. Northwest is one of the most humid areas with rainfall up to 1650 mm. Conversely in the south of Spain are the areas that are changing into the desert. These include for example, Almeria and Murcia.

Spain is a popular tourist country from spring to autumn. Comfortable and warm weather is a guaranty of a good holiday. A special feature are the Canary Islands, that are also known as the islands of eternal spring, since the temperature here is very enjoyable whole year.
