Hungary has a typical mild inland climate. The best time to visit this country is over the summer period, when the weather is warmer. The weather in spring and autumn can be very pleasant. The coldest month is January (-1 °C) and the warmest August (21.3 °C). Annual average rainfall is 625 mm.
