Germany's climate is mild. It has no extremes, but sometimes is very shifty. On the coast is the climate Oceanic, influenced by the sea. Northern parts has usually more humidity and greater amount of precipitation. More to the south in inland parts of the country is the climate Continental. Average January temperatures are from -3°C to 2°C and in July from 16°C to 20°C. Average annual rainfall in the lowlands is from 600 to 900 mm, significantly higher in the Alps. Germany is among the states that are attractive for tourists. A large proportion of visitors are businessmen. Germany can be visited throughout the year, but the weather here is most beautiful from spring to autumn.
You can visit Germany any time. But during the main season May to September the hotels can get rather crowded. From March to May and October through November is the best time to visit the Germany, because the climate is pleasant and there are fewer crowds. If you prefer winter, you may choose months from November to April which are the best for winter lovers.
