Our advice is to visit:
1) Turnov with large playground Happyland (Šťastná země).
2) Telc (Telč) with wonderful color houses, fairy tale atmosphere. Kids love this town.
3) Prague (Praha) - Astronomical Clock in The Old Town Square, Petrin (Petřín) with small "Eiffel Tower", Toy museum near Prague Castle
4) Cesky raj (Český ráj) with green forest and ruins, good area for all day trips for your family and kids

Skier
The Czech Republic has great conditions for winter sports, especially for skiing and snowboarding. We recommend Vysocina, Krkonose, Kralicky Sneznik, Orlicke hory. The well known ski resorts are Harrachov, Spindleruv Mlyn (Špindlerův Mlýn).

Adventurer
Our advice is to try hot air balloons. Great adventure is guaranted. You can use services of private clubs and operators. The most exciting are flights above Prague and wonderful castles as Karlstejn (Kralštejn), Krivoklat. (Křivoklát).
If you like climbing, we recommed Labe sandstones and Moravky kras. First area is near Usti nad labem and second in South Moravia. Here you can find famous Macocha abyss. Explore the beautiful places.

Explorer
The Czech Republic had over 38 thousand kilometers of marked hiking trails. These trails are often marked with signs, guideposts and map boards. Details could be obtain in turist information centers.
The most popular walking areas are in Krkonose (Krkonoše) and Sumava (Šumava). Dont´t forget to visit beautiful Cesky raj when you can admire also cycling paths.
