National Parks

  National Park Plitvice Lakes beautiful lakes, waterfalls, famous for shooting Winetou. They are located on the Korana river. Among the lakes wooden bridges and walkways are built.

  Paklenica National Park - famous for its canyons and caves. There are excellent hiking trails built in the length of 150 km. The park is sought-after by alpinist because of it´s steep rock walls.

  National Park Biokovo the steep peaks of the National Park attract climbers and tourists. There are several marked trails also. The highest peak is Sveti Jure -1764 meters above sea level.

One of the greatests monuments of Sibenik undoubtedly belongs the Cathedral of St. Jakov, (years 1431 - 1536).
