Family and kids
Our advice is to visit nice cities Brugge, Gent and Oostende. To be sure your family will be satisfied we propose to spend one or two days in amusement park (see below).

Couple
Not to be in a hurry we would like to pay your attention to small sea resorts De Haan and Koksijde. If you prefer smaller towns, we suggest Hasselt. Here you can visit the Jenever museum and the Japanese gardens.
If you have a chance to visit Belgium during winter, do not miss the Christmas Market on the Ladeuzeplein in Leuven. We suggest to see also a famous Groot Begijnhof (UNESCO world heritage).

Group
As Belgium is a small country, prepare a trip plan to visit several cities. We suggest Brussels, Antwerpen and Leuven.

Seniors
Our picks are enchant Antwerpen and Oostende. Do not miss Floral Clock in the Leopold Park. It is very impressive.

Single
One of the most sympatic cities in Belgium is Ghent (Gent). You can be sure you will be not alone here as this city has its own charm.

Biker
Belgium is a cracking country for bikers. You can freely pedal through ancient streets. You can admire the flat terrain of the Flemish region and the rolling hills of the Walloon region. Our favourite well marked trail begins in Brugge and links to Ghent.

Skier
No advice.

Adventurer
Our advice is to spend some time in Viroinval Nature Park. The park is known as a walker's paradise. The park offers many beautiful valleys and hillsides.
We suggest also an unique attraction in Belgium. The labyrinth. You can access from Barvaux S/O.

Explorer
One of the fantastic trips is a boat trip down the Vaart, the Leuven - Mechelen channel. The second is the trip across the nature park of the two ourthes located at the heart of the Ardennes. You will admire plateaus and wooded valleys. The third one is a trip to The Hotton Grottoes that belong to the exceptional Natural Heritage of Wallonia.

Outdoor traveler
The best starting point is the village Assenede in Flanders. It is surrounded by nature, but not to far to Ghent, Brugge and Damme.
Meetjesland, a nature park Doornendijk offers many outdoor activities. This area lies near North Sea coast.

Boerentoren - the skyscraper (97m) is the most probably the oldest one in Europe.

Ghent has an unique atmosphere thanks to students and a nice medieval center.

Bellewaerde in Lille, Bobbejaanland in Lichtaarte De Haan Groendyk, Molenheide, Boudewijnpark in BruggáchVielsalm - some of them are covered by water aqua parks, operating during the winter. Our reccommendation is to visit Boudewijn Seapark. Do not miss to see dolphin show.

There is also an interesting park in Wallonia - Parc Paradisio. Really lovely.
