Stores can be found almost everywhere. Egypt is a “souvenir” paradise for tourists. Shops are open Monday to Thursday 9:00-13:30 and 17:00-20:00. Food shops are open longer. Friday is by law non-working day. Most shops, monuments and museums usually after prayer from 14:00 open.

Health care is quite good. Since medical services are paid, it is appropriate to secure health insurance before your travel. It is better to have drugs against intestinal disorders, fever and insect bites in your first-aid kit box.
